Bay Cities Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital that has been serving the Burlington community for over 35 years. Our goal is to provide the most up to date veterinary care, while keeping pet owners informed and involved in the health decisions of their pet.
The hospital offers general preventive health care and nutritional counseling, as well as providing full surgical, medical, dental and radiographic services and an in-hospital pharmacy.
In 2000, Bay Cities Animal Hospital was selected by the American Animal Hospital Association, as one of the three hospitals in Ontario to be included in its facility tours during its conference in Toronto. Bay Cities Animal Hospital and their staff have also been involved in the clinical field trials associated with the licensing of pharmaceuticals in both Canada and the United States.
Bay Cities gives back to the community by participating in high school cooperative education programs, writing columns on pet health for The Burlington Post, visiting schools and participating in career days for high school students. Bay Cities also works with the Ontario Veterinary College by accepting final year veterinary students for their practical training in small animal medicine and surgery.
To keep abreast of new developments in the veterinary field and prepare for future challenges the veterinarians of Bay Cities routinely attend more than 500 hours of continuing education per year
We are open for appointments and emergencies during normal business hours and on Saturdays.
