Bay Cities Animal Hospital is involved in the High School Co-Operative Education program, and every fall and spring we usually have at least one co-op student placed with us.
Students spend 3 hours each day in the clinic, where they can observe the day-to-day activities of a busy veterinary hospital and learn more about the careers of a Veterinarian and a Registered Veterinary Technician. This experience is an invaluable educational tool that we recommend every young student participate in if they are considering a career in veterinary medicine.
Interested students should contact their guidance counsellor department of their high schools.
