Dr. Tanya Fournier received her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph in 2008.
As a student she was asked to sit on the Council of the College of Veterinarians in Ontario. She also researched and published a paper in the Canadian Veterinary Journal on a rare canine heart disorder - Dynamic Right Ventricular Outflow Tract Stenosis. After a year in a Toronto small animal clinic, Tanya currently balances her time between Bay Cities Animal Hospital and a Toronto Emergency Clinic. She is a member of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association and the Hamilton Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Fournier has participated in the Infantry Unit of the Canadian Army Reserves, lifeguarding and bartending. Currently, she spends her spare time playing hockey, baseball, seeking new cuisines and spoiling her cat, Tov.
